Patterned tile floors

We are experiencing the resurgence of patterned floors which was the choice design four decades ago when resplendent permanent patterned tiles are used in designs. Sometimes, plain tiles are used in conjunction with patterned tiles to achieve classic designs.

Black tapware

Chrome has been used as the de-facto finishing standards for taps in the bathrooms and kitchen. However, design presently favors sleek and elegant black which has risen to prominence. Although the chrome ware is still in use, the elegant black has taken the over in terms of popularity and assumed the leading position in contemporary interior design.  The rise of elegant black tapware to prominence may be associated with its luxurious look that set it apart from others.

Use of woods

The advent of modern sealants, chemical paints, and effective ventilation systems have led to the use of tones and textures of wood without fear of spoilage due to water retention.  For someone who is still wary of using wood finish in a damp room, a wide ribbon of timber veneered storage may be appropriate in bringing style to a plain bathroom and hardly comes in contact with water directly.

Freestanding bathtub

A freestanding tub it simply captivating. Its indulgence goes beyond its visual appeal, it is an epitome of passion and luxury. For s small space, it is important to find a tub of the right shape. For example, a tub with a soft curve can add style to a squared room and a squared or sleek tub can be appropriate for pastel or tubs with prominent features.
